Terms of Service

By using pullup.at, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Platform Overview

Welcome to pullup.at. We provide a comprehensive event management platform that includes:

  • QR code-based guest check-in with fraud detection
  • Ticket sales with multiple pricing tiers
  • Reserved seating with interactive seat selection
  • Custom landing pages and email templates
  • Public profiles and digital stamp collections
  • Event discovery based on location
  • Peer-to-peer ticket resale marketplace
  • Enterprise organization management
  • Developer API and webhooks
  • Push notifications and in-app messaging
  • Cosmetic shop for profile customization
  • Social features including follows and collections

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities that occur under it.

  • You can request a full export of your data at any time (limited to once per 7 days)
  • Two-factor authentication (2FA) is available for enhanced security
  • Passkey authentication is supported for passwordless login
  • Google OAuth sign-in is available
  • You may delete your account and all associated data at any time

3. Host Subscription Plans

pullup.at offers multiple tiers for event hosts:

Free Tier

  • Host events with up to 20 guests
  • Basic QR check-in functionality
  • Standard guest management

Premium - £4.99/month

  • Up to 50 events per month with 10,000 guests each
  • Ticket sales with multiple pricing tiers
  • Custom landing page builder with themes
  • Custom email templates and branding
  • Advanced analytics and insights
  • VIP guest tagging and priority check-in
  • Public event listing in discovery
  • Custom stamp designer for events
  • Story mode for social sharing
  • Event group chat functionality

Platinum - £19.99/month

  • All Premium features included
  • Reserved seating with venue layout builder
  • Queue system for high-demand events
  • White-label branding (remove pullup.at branding)
  • Custom domain support
  • Custom email domain configuration
  • Developer API access with webhooks
  • Priority support with dedicated account manager
  • OAuth2 application registration

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

4. Buyer Subscription Plans

Ticket buyers can also subscribe for enhanced benefits:

Free Buyer

  • Purchase tickets to any event
  • Collect digital stamps from attended events
  • Basic public profile

Elite Buyer - £2.99/month

  • Early access to ticket sales (configurable by host)
  • Access to exclusive Elite-only events
  • Ability to list tickets on the resale marketplace
  • Enhanced profile customization options
  • Priority customer support

5. Payments and Payouts

For hosts who sell tickets or receive payments:

  • Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely via Stripe.
  • Fund Holding: Revenue from ticket sales is held in pullup.at's business account with Monzo until payout is requested.
  • Platform Fees: A small platform fee applies to ticket sales. The exact percentage is shown during event creation.
  • Payout Methods:
    • UK bank transfer (1-2 business days)
    • International transfer via IBAN/SWIFT (3-5 business days)
  • Minimum Payout: £10 minimum for payout requests.
  • Promo Codes: Hosts can create discount codes for their events.

6. Reserved Seating

Platinum hosts can enable reserved seating for their events:

  • Create and save reusable venue layout templates
  • Configure sections with different pricing tiers (standard, VIP, balcony, etc.)
  • Guests select their specific seats during checkout
  • Seats are held temporarily during the checkout process (configurable hold duration)
  • Queue system available for high-demand events to manage traffic
  • Seat assignments are final once payment is completed
  • Seat information is included on tickets and at check-in

7. Resale Marketplace

Elite buyers can resell their tickets through our secure marketplace:

  • Only verified ticket holders can list tickets for resale
  • Sellers set their asking price (can be above or below original price)
  • Buyers receive authentic tickets with new QR codes upon purchase
  • Original ticket is automatically invalidated after successful sale
  • Sellers receive instant payout minus platform fee
  • Hosts can disable resale for specific events
  • All resale transactions are tracked for fraud prevention

8. Enterprise Organizations

For venues, promoters, and large-scale operations, we offer enterprise accounts:

  • Team Management: Invite team members with role-based permissions (admin, event manager, check-in staff, finance, analyst, promoter)
  • Central Wallet: All event revenue flows to a shared organization wallet
  • Multiple Payout Accounts: Configure multiple bank accounts for payouts
  • Promoter System: Track promoter links, conversions, and commissions
  • Sponsor Integration: Add sponsor logos to tickets, emails, and landing pages
  • Fraud Detection: AI-powered fraud monitoring and alerts
  • White-Label: Full custom branding and domain support
  • Analytics: Advanced reporting across all organization events

9. Developer API

Platinum and Enterprise users have access to our Developer API:

  • RESTful API with OAuth2 authentication
  • Create and manage events programmatically
  • Access guest lists and check-in data
  • Award stamps to users via API
  • Register webhooks for real-time event notifications
  • Scoped API keys with granular permissions
  • Rate limiting applies based on subscription tier
  • Webhook delivery logs for debugging

API usage is monitored. Abuse or excessive usage may result in rate limiting or API access revocation.

10. Notifications

We provide multiple notification channels:

  • In-app notifications for real-time updates
  • Email notifications for important events (ticket purchases, event updates)
  • Push notifications (with your permission)
  • Configurable quiet hours and notification preferences
  • Digest options for batched notifications

You can customize your notification preferences at any time in your account settings.

11. Digital Stamps and Collectibles

When guests check in to events via QR code, they earn digital stamps:

  • Stamps are earned only by physical check-in and cannot be purchased or transferred
  • Rarity levels (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary) based on event characteristics
  • Premium hosts can design custom stamps using the stamp builder
  • Each stamp includes metadata (venue, city, date, event type)
  • Stamps can be displayed on your public profile
  • Shareable stamp links with 3D previews
  • Stamps have no monetary value and are for display purposes only
  • We reserve the right to modify stamp rarity or appearance

12. Social Features

Our social features allow users to connect:

  • Public Profiles: Customizable profiles at pullup.at/profile/username
  • Following: Follow other users to see their activity
  • Collections: QR-based user collection system at events
  • Nearby Discovery: Opt-in feature to discover users near you
  • Event Chat: Group chat for event attendees
  • Cosmetic Shop: Purchase frames, backgrounds, and animations for your profile

13. Host Responsibilities

As an event host, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring your events comply with local laws and regulations
  • Managing your guest list appropriately
  • Providing accurate event information including location and age restrictions
  • Refunding guests if your event is cancelled
  • Ensuring the safety of guests at your venue
  • Custom stamps, landing pages, and emails being appropriate and non-offensive
  • Responding to support inquiries from your guests

14. Prohibited Content

You may not use pullup.at for:

  • Any illegal activities or events
  • Events that promote hate, violence, or discrimination
  • Fraudulent ticket sales or scalping operations
  • Offensive or inappropriate content in stamps, profiles, or landing pages
  • Spam or unsolicited marketing
  • Impersonation of other users or organizations
  • Circumventing platform fees or security measures

We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts that violate these guidelines without notice.

15. Intellectual Property

Content you create on pullup.at (stamps, landing pages, event descriptions) remains your intellectual property. By using the platform, you grant pullup.at a non-exclusive license to display and distribute this content as part of the service.

The pullup.at name, logo, and platform design are trademarks of pullup.at. You may not use these without permission.

16. Limitation of Liability

pullup.at provides the platform "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

  • Actions of event hosts or attendees
  • Cancelled or modified events
  • Technical issues or service interruptions
  • Loss of data beyond our control
  • Third-party integrations or services

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
