Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to pullup.at. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. pullup.at provides a platform for hosting and managing events, including guest list management, QR code check-in, ticket sales, custom landing pages, public profiles, digital stamp collections, and event discovery.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities that occur under it. You can request a copy of your data at any time (limited to once per 7 days).

3. Free and Premium Plans

pullup.at offers a free tier and a premium subscription at £4.99/month. Free users can host parties with up to 20 guests. Premium users get access to:

  • Up to 50 parties per month
  • Up to 10,000 guests per party
  • Ability to sell tickets with multiple tiers
  • VIP guest tagging and priority check-in
  • Advanced analytics and insights
  • Custom landing page builder
  • Custom email templates
  • Story mode for social sharing
  • Custom themes and branding
  • Public event listing in Events Discovery
  • Custom stamp designer for events

You may cancel your premium subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

4. Payments and Ticket Sales

For premium users who sell tickets:

  • Payment Processing: All ticket payments are processed securely via Stripe.
  • Fund Holding: Money collected from paid events is held in pullup.at's business bank account with Monzo until payout is requested.
  • Payouts: Hosts can request payouts via UK bank transfer (1-2 business days) or international bank transfer via IBAN/SWIFT (3-5 business days). Payout requests are processed manually and you will receive confirmation via email.
  • Minimum Payout: The minimum payout amount is £10.

5. Event Discovery

Premium users can opt to make their events publicly discoverable. Public events appear in our Events Discovery section and can be found by users based on location. By making an event public, you agree that:

  • Event details (title, date, time, area) will be visible to all users
  • Your display name will be shown as the host
  • Users can find your event based on their location
  • Exact addresses are only revealed to confirmed guests

6. Public Profiles

Users can create public profiles accessible at pullup.at/profile/username. By setting up a public profile, you acknowledge that:

  • Your chosen display name, username, avatar, banner, bio, and location will be publicly visible
  • Social media links you add will be shown on your profile
  • If enabled, your stamp collection and event map will be visible to anyone
  • Your profile may appear in search engines
  • You can choose a theme for your profile page
  • You can disable your profile or hide sections at any time

7. Digital Stamps

When guests check in to events via QR code, they automatically receive a digital stamp. Stamps are collectible digital items that appear on your profile. By using this feature:

  • Stamps are earned by checking in at events and cannot be purchased or transferred
  • Stamps have rarity levels (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary) determined by event size and type
  • Premium hosts can design custom stamps for their events using the stamp builder
  • Stamps include metadata such as venue name, city, and date earned
  • Each stamp has a shareable link that displays a 3D preview
  • Stamps have no monetary value and are purely for display purposes
  • We reserve the right to modify stamp rarity or appearance at any time

8. Host Responsibilities

As a host, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring your events comply with local laws and regulations
  • Managing your guest list appropriately
  • Providing accurate event information including location
  • Refunding guests if your event is cancelled
  • Ensuring the safety of your guests at your venue
  • Any custom stamps you design being appropriate and non-offensive

9. Refunds

Refunds for ticket purchases are handled on a case-by-case basis. Hosts are responsible for refunding guests if an event is cancelled. pullup.at may facilitate refunds in cases of dispute.

10. Data and Privacy

You can request a full export of your data at any time through your account settings. Data exports are limited to twice every 30 days to prevent abuse. You can also delete your events and account data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

11. Prohibited Content

You may not use pullup.at for any illegal activities or events that promote hate, violence, or discrimination. This includes custom stamp designs, profile content, landing pages, and event descriptions. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines.

12. Intellectual Property

Custom stamps, landing pages, and other content you create on pullup.at remain your intellectual property. However, by using the platform you grant pullup.at a non-exclusive licence to display and distribute this content as part of the service (e.g. showing stamps on profiles, sharing event pages).

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
