Today we're fixing that. Every sold-out event on pullup now shows a beautiful waitlist instead of a brick wall.

How it works

When an event is full, attendees see a polished waitlist card instead of a plain "Sold Out" message. They drop in their name and email, and they're in line.

Automatic promotion

This is the magic part. The moment a spot frees up, we promote the next person in line automatically—no manual list-wrangling required. Spots free up when:

**A guest cancels** and their place opens back up

**You increase the event capacity** in your settings

**You upgrade your plan**, which raises your per-event guest cap

Instant email alerts

Promoted guests get an email immediately with a link to grab their spot. We're upfront that it's first come, first served, so there's a healthy sense of urgency to claim it before the next person in line.
