About the Role
Join our core engineering team to build and scale the platform that powers thousands of events. You'll work on challenging problems across the entire stack, from real-time ticketing systems to payment processing.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
- Build responsive, performant user interfaces with React and Next.js
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver exceptional user experiences
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices
- Participate in architecture decisions and technical planning
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
- Understanding of cloud services (AWS, Vercel, or similar)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with real-time systems and WebSockets
- Knowledge of payment processing (Stripe)
- Previous experience in ticketing or events industry
- Contributions to open-source projects
